This Is Us
A manifesto of a collective. // 2024
The collective sees itself as a lived, everyday practice of pulsating co-existance that is able to generate new patterns of action.
The collective creates an experimental space for radical care and explores the political potential of friend- and kinships.
The collective overcomes individualization towards condividualization by liquefying and collectivizing the boundaries of creative, artistic processes.
The collective opposes capitalist and patriarchal structures of oppression and develops the necessary strength to break up exploitative systems.
The collective builds confronting, but encouraging interventions to reflect on the relationship between the individual and the collective struggle.
The collective considers collective feeling as an act of empowerment and invites to unite in pain instead of going into individualized withdrawal.
The collective follows a logic of rhizomatic and tentacular thinking in order to generate decentralized and pluralistic flows of knowledge.
The collective serves as a transparent space that enables conscious self-awareness and experimentation.
The collective demands critical self-reflection that draws practical solidarity from one's whiteness and understands allyship as an continous, active process.
The collective regards its collaborative work as a transformative tool that serves towards an intersectional, collective liberation.
